Würzburg game postponed at short notice due to positive Covid-19 case

Wednesday evening's game at Würzburg (18:30 CET) has been postponed due to a member of the home backroom staff testing positive for Covid-19. The decision by the German Football League (DFL) to call the game off was not taken until two hours before kick-off.
"We are anything but delighted to have received official notification of the postponement just two hours before kick-off," said director of sport Andreas Bornemann. “The whole process is highly questionable and didn't unfold professionally.”
