Fan rooms
MORE SPACE FOR FANS
The fan rooms [Fanräume] at the Millerntor – to be more precise in the East Stand [Gegengerade] – opened in June 2013. Starting in 2007, St. Pauli fans raised some €400,000 to turn the dream of supporter-funded rooms at their own ground into reality. Today the rooms are home to the Fanladen, the AFM and Fanräume e.V.
The fan rooms are run by the Fanräume e.V. association, which operates and administers the function room [Fansaal], with its stage, dance floor and bar, and the conference room. The rooms can be used by supporters, club sections, club committees and other organisations associated with FC St. Pauli or the local community.
Fanräume e.V. is active in the areas of education and youth welfare. The association maintains a growing collection of publications (books, magazines and other media) relating to FC St. Pauli in particular and football and football supporters in general. It can be viewed from Tuesday to Friday between the hours of 3pm and 7pm – apart from matchdays.
Readings, panel discussions and other supporter-related events take place on a regular basis.
