MIYAICHI TEARS CRUCIATE

Shock for Ryo Miyaichi! The attacking midfielder suffered a serious injury to his right knee in a training-ground challenge this morning.

An examination conducted by club doctor Volker Carrero at the Endo Rehab Clinic revealed a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament. Miyaichi, 24, is expected to undergo surgery by cruciate specialist Dr Heinz-Jürgen Eichhorn next week and will be out of action for several months.

MATCHWEEKS 29-32 SCHEDULED: EVENING KICK-OFFS AT DÜSSELDORF AND KIEL

The German Football League (DFL) finalised this season's fixture schedule by announcing the kick-off times for matchweeks 29 to 32 on Thursday afternoon. Timo Schultz's side will host Kickers Würzburg on Saturday, 17 April, and Greuther Fürth on Sunday, 25 April, and will go to Fortuna Düsseldorf on Thursday, 22 April, and Holstein Kiel on Friday, 7 May.
